North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems (NATIFS) addresses the economic and health crises affecting Native communities. NāTIFs is focused on two main goals: Indigenous Culinary Education and Indigenous Food Access. We are launching an Indigenous Food Lab in the Twin Cities that will house an Indigenous restaurant and training center. We are re-establishing Native foodways as part of a re-imagined North American food system through food-related enterprises that generate wealth and improve health in Native communities.
